Green Events:
A case study of "A Chance to Go Green" in Artesia, California. The city demonstrated the utilization of their biggest park as a learning center for sustainability. The Volunteer Corps of Artesia organized the event with the help of other local organizations. Different businesses were invited to speak about their contributions on being more sustainable.

After School Parks Recreation Incorporating Sustainable Concepts.
Pomona's Parks give the youth a hands on and visual learning experience outside of the classroom. Park employees facilitating the After School Programs can incorporate activities where the youth learns about sustainability. Students can learn practices ways of being more sustainable.
